mySAP ERP 2004 Implementation for Saurashtra Fuels

Saurashtra Fuels is India's leading manufacturer of Metallurgical coke. Eworks implemented the mySAP ERP for the client at all its locations for all the modules within a period of 4 months and the Project went live on October 12, 2005 as planned while signing the contract in April, 2005.

The most challenging aspect of the project was to develop the Production Planning, Quality and Materials Management System due to unique feature of moisture content in coal/coke that keeps on changing due to weather conditions. The raw material i.e. coal, being a natural material procured from various mines across the world, posed a significant challenge to streamline its quality control and yield parameters as the properties of coal are always different in every consignment. Eworks Team successfully developed the business processes and configured the system to a very high satisfaction of the client.
